Pastor — Indian Head Baptist Church is seeking a bi-vocational pastor. Our church is a part of the Southern Baptist Convention and has 30-50 active and regular attendees. Our mission as a church is to minister to the spiritual, emotional, and intellectual needs of all people by spreading the saving gospel of Jesus Christ through word and deed. Our goal is to grow disciples for the kingdom of Christ by equipping, teaching, and giving opportunities to become more Christ-like in our everyday lives as we live those lives in communion with Christ and each other.

Job Type: Bi-vocational lead Pastor. There are no assistant pastor positions.

Salary Range: $40,000-$47,000 

Minimum of 20 hours per week with flexibility for mandatory duties such as visitation and officiating funerals/weddings.

Qualifications 

• The pastor must be above reproach, the husband of one wife (unmarried is acceptable), sober-minded, self-controlled, respectable, hospitable, and able to teach (1 Timothy 3:2).
• The pastor must be able to lead and preach. “Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long-suffering and doctrine.” (2 Timothy 4:2)
• The pastor, as God’s steward, must be above reproach. He must not be arrogant or quick-tempered or a drunkard or violent or greedy for gain, but hospitable, a lover of good, self-controlled, upright, holy, and disciplined. He must hold firm to the trustworthy word as taught, so that he may be able to give instruction in sound doctrine and also to rebuke those who contradict it (Titus 1:7-9).
• The pastor should be an example to the flock and committed to growing members spiritually. “Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind; Neither as being lords over God’s heritage, but being ensamples to the flock.” (1 Peter 5:2-3)
• The pastor should be ordained and licensed as a minister of the Gospel by a Southern Baptist Church or be in progress.

Pastor — Redland Baptist Church (RBC), Derwood, is prayerfully seeking our next Pastor. This is a called, full-time, salaried position.

An experienced servant leader, the Pastor serves as the head of the staff, oversees equipping and encouraging the church membership, preaches the gospel, offers pastoral care to the congregation, casts vision for the direction of the church, and supports the missions and ministries of the church.

Youth Ministry Director Summer Intern — Dunkirk Baptist Church is seeking a youth intern for the summer of 2025. The current youth pastor has assumed the roles of both youth pastor and worship pastor. An intern would greatly help with his responsibilities, especially during the summers, which are very busy with many activities.

The current youth pastor, Chris Garrett, is very committed to passing the baton to the coming generations. He incorporates many of the youth into the music and A/V ministries. Director of Outreach and Administration — Tri-County Baptist Church (TCBC) in Damascus, Maryland, is seeking a director of outreach and administration. This part-time contractual position (approximately 20 hours a week) will play a critical role in supporting TCBC’s various ministries and managing the administrative aspects of running our church’s day-to-day operations.

Duties include, but are not limited to the following:

• Outreach and Missions: assist, coordinate, and oversee occasional outreach and missions opportunities, such as the Damascus Parade, Trunk or Treat, and Operation Christmas Child
• Fellowship: assist, coordinate, and oversee occasional fellowship events, such as the church picnic, potluck dinners, servant appreciation, and others
• Worship Service: coordinate the logistical aspects of TCBC’s worship services, including coordinating with staff members and volunteers — praise team leader, A/V support ministry, children’s minister, director of facilities, and others; maintain and improve our A/V equipment and supervise the A/V ministry
• Publications: prepare or oversee preparation and proofread materials for services such as slides and bulletins

• Church Communications: regular communication and meeting attendance with elders, deacons, staff, the church management team, and ministry/committee heads, as well as overseeing or producing our weekly e-mail newsletter; provide design and printing for flyers, printouts, and other publications; regularly update our website, Facebook page, and online platforms

Full-time Pastor — Forest Heights Baptist Church, a diverse congregation located in the heart of Oxon Hill in Prince George’s County, Maryland, seeks a full-time pastor to lead our small but growing congregation.

Full-time Pastor — First Baptist Church of Easton is embarking on a comprehensive search for a full-time Pastor who will build on our 130-year legacy of faithful service to God in the Easton community and worldwide. Lead Pastor — Cockeysville Baptist Church is a small Southern Baptist Congregation committed to preaching, teaching, and living out of the Word of God through the power of the Holy Spirit. We have been worshipping in the Cockeysville, MD community (located in northern Baltimore County) for over 50 years.

Now we are seeking God’s provision for a new pastor committed to leading God’s people and building a faithful church in our community.
