Compassion Ministries

BCM/D Ready is designed to position the churches in our two-state, eleven-association collective to be able to more effectively respond to natural disasters and community needs. BCM/D Ready helps your church be prepared to respond to the urgent needs in your community using these three steps: Prepare, Connect, and Respond.

We believe that becoming a church that is effective ministering to individuals and families affected by disabilities begins with a knowledge of what scripture says and obedience to God’s commands.

The BCM/D partners with churches in a number of ways to assist them as they serve the marginalized of their communities. In conjunction with Send Relief, we are able to offer small grants from the annual Global Hunger Offering of Southern Baptists to churches actively running food ministries of various types.
