Part-Time Associate Pastor
Are you called to shepherd a small, vibrant Southern Baptist congregation? Alexandria Bay Baptist Church, a Southern Baptist fellowship in beautiful Northern New York, is seeking a part-time Associate Pastor to provide spiritual leadership, biblical teaching, and pastoral care for our church family of about 40-50 members. This position offers the opportunity to transition to Senior Pastor after approximately one year, making it an excellent opportunity for someone who senses God’s leading toward long-term pastoral ministry. Ordination, a Christian ministry degree, and seminary training are preferred but not required. Starting salary is approximately $20,000 annually, increasing to approximately $30,000 upon transition to Senior Pastor.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare and deliver biblically sound sermons for Sunday morning worship services.
• Lead Wednesday evening Bible study, fostering spiritual growth and engagement.
• Provide pastoral care and counseling to members and families, including hospital and home visits.
• Officiate at weddings, funerals, and special services as requested and per our constitution and bylaws.
• Work collaboratively with church leadership to set vision, goals, and priorities.
• Attend and participate in church business meetings and leadership team meetings.
• Support and encourage volunteer leaders and ministry teams.
• Welcome and follow up with visitors and new attendees.
• Encourage outreach and community engagement.
Qualifications:
• Demonstrates a mature Christian faith and life consistent with biblical pastoral qualifications as outlined in 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:5-9.
• Ability to teach and communicate biblical truth clearly.
• Compassionate, approachable, and able to relate to people of all ages.
• Experience in church leadership, teaching, or ministry (formal theological education is helpful but not required).
• Willingness to work collaboratively with church leadership and volunteers.
Time Commitment:
Part-time hours to include Sunday morning service, Wednesday night Bible study, and pastoral care as needed.

Qualifications & Expectations:
Doctrinal Alignment: Must wholeheartedly agree with the BF&M (2000). Someone that would also agree with the 1833 New Hampshire Confession of Faith or Southern Seminary’s Abstract of Principles would be ideal.
Character: Must meet the biblical qualifications of a pastor outlined in 1 Timothy 3, Titus 1, and 1 Peter 5.
Church Governance: Desires to operate within an Elder-led context.
Training: We’re looking for candidates who’ve completed formal theological training at a seminary or Bible college. Candidates may also be considered who have at least three years of pastoral experience.
Worship Arts and Music Pastor
Calvary Baptist in Bel Air, Md is seeking a full time Worship Arts and Music Pastor. The individual must be committed to Jesus Christ and to the ministry of music and worship of Christ. Calvary has two worship services with two different styles of worship: traditional with choir and contemporary with praise team. The following qualifications are needed:
- Must be a team player working with the other pastors
- Must have a biblical theology of worship and teach others
- Flexibility to change according to the need of the hour

Senior Pastor
New Harvest Baptist Church, located in Delaware’s Capital City of Dover, is seeking a Pastor to lead our congregation of approximately 60 active and outreach-minded members. Our church focus is on evangelism and missions, along with feeding our members and friends with God’s love. New Harvest Baptist Church formed in 2013 by 48 members following a larger Southern Baptist Church division; most of these individuals were active in church ministries and leadership. The church is comprised primarily of seniors and a few young adults. Sunday School classes continue to grow with over 50% of the members attending. We have numerous active small groups and active mission-based groups. We are currently meeting in a rented facility. Property has been purchased and we are working towards building a facility of our own.
