Associate Pastor

Lead Pastor
Cockeysville Baptist Church is a small Southern Baptist Congregation that is committed to the preaching, teaching, and living out of the Word of God through the power of the Holy Spirit. We have been worshipping in the Cockeysville, MD community (located in northern Baltimore County) for over 50 years.

Now we are seeking God’s provision for a new pastor committed to leading God’s people and building a faithful church in our community. We want a man with a shepherd’s heart to humbly lead our congregation as we lift Jesus higher and build a legacy of good works in our community. Cockeysville, as part of the ever-growing York Road corridor in Baltimore County, is a suburban area that presents unique challenges. There are two schools within about a mile of our sanctuary with children that need to learn about the love of God. We share our building with a Hispanic congregation offering opportunities for fellowship with like-minded believers. Our area has a great many people who can be categorized as unchurched and have little knowledge of Jesus Christ and His sacrifice for us.

If you are a seminary graduate with at least two years of professional experience in ministry, either as a pastor or as church staff, we would like to talk with you. We consider professional experience in secular fields (like business or education) an asset as well. Our previous pastor was bi-vocational, and we anticipate that our next pastor will be bi-vocational as well. Although a small church we also offer use of a recently renovated parsonage as part of the pastor’s compensation package, in addition to salary.

Senior Pastor
First Baptist Church, Lake Jackson, (FBCLJ) Texas, seeks a senior pastor. FBC Lake Jackson is a well-established, multi-generational, mission-minded church with an attendance of about 350 members each Sunday morning. They are located on the Gulf Coast, about 45 minutes south of Houston. The church has one morning service, an evening service and a Wednesday night prayer meeting. Founded in 1943, they have active mission activities in Alaska, Montana, Egypt, and Bulgaria, as well as numerous missions in their community.

Required Qualifications include meeting the requirements listed for an overseer in 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and 1 Peter 5:1-4; faithfully supporting the inerrancy and authority of the Bible and fully support the Baptist Faith & Message 200. Preferred qualifications include a formal theological education from a Southern Baptist Seminary; a minimum of ten years of experience; a minimum of five years in positions of church leadership.

Student Pastor

Minister of Music

Full-Time/Part-Time Youth Minister Job Description
Columbia Chinese Baptist Church, Ellicott City, Md—  This servant shall strengthen youth ministry at Columbia Chinese Baptist Church (CCBC) and work closely with the youth ministry team. Responsibilities are the following:

• Strengthen youth ministry, which includes worship, discipleship and outreach, under the supervision of the lead pastor and church leadership
