WMU Annual Meeting

Each year, our Annual Meeting gives us the joy of gathering together to celebrate and hear about the work of the Lord through WMU over the past year, and to look ahead with expectation to how He is calling us to join Him in His mission.
This year, we’ll gather around our theme, Meant for the Mission, rooted in John 15:16–17, and consider what it means that Jesus has chosen and appointed His people to bear fruit for His Kingdom.
We’ll also spotlight this year’s International Mission Study: Horn of Africa, including missions discipleship resources designed for every generation in your church; from preschoolers to adults. Whether you serve in WMU, lead missions in your local church, disciple children or students, or simply want to help your church grow in its understanding of God’s global mission, there will be something here for you.
And we are so grateful to welcome Colleen Smith as our keynote speaker. Colleen is a local missionary, speaker, coach, and Founder and Executive Director of The Restoration House of Maryland, a Christ-centered ministry walking alongside women as they rebuild their lives after exploitation, addiction, and trauma. We cannot wait to hear what the Lord has placed on her heart for us.
Come ready to celebrate, connect, learn, be equipped, and be reminded that you, too, were meant for the mission.
