I invite you to join me at The Gathering, our annual meeting with our family of pastors, leaders, and church members from our 400+ affiliated churches within the Baptist Convention of Maryland/Delaware (BCM/D).

We will gather in Ocean City, Maryland, at the Ashore Resort and Beach Club. Many have shared how much they enjoy meeting by the ocean. In addition to the program—which, in my opinion, will be amazing—there will be plenty of opportunities for you and your family to relax, eat, shop, and visit. Truly, there is something for everyone in Ocean City!

Our theme for The Gathering is: ONE: One Body. One Heart. One Mission. The Bible says, “How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity” (Psalm 133:1 NIV). Come join us as one family on mission, united in heart and purpose for the gospel. You will hear from BCM/D teams and leaders about how God has moved throughout our churches and communities in 2025, as well as what is on the horizon for 2026. This is also a time to reconnect with friends, make new connections, and be encouraged and inspired.

On Monday evening, we’re hosting a dinner for pastors and their wives—a special time for refreshment and encouragement. Pastors and wives, we look forward to loving and serving you!

Throughout The Gathering, we will worship and we will pray. If we want revival throughout Maryland, Delaware, and beyond, we must pray! 1 Thessalonians 5:16–18 (ESV) says: “Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.”

There will be all of this and more! Please come and be part of The Gathering. You will be blessed, and God will use you to be a blessing to someone else.
