Do you often feel like the world is polarizing … migrating to extremes on both ends of the spectrum?  Often times that can even feel true in the church. 

To discuss ways to more effectively navigate toxic polarization, the BCM/D is partnering with The Matthew 5:9 Fellowship to host a Roundtable Discussion entitled “Seeking Unity in the SBC.” This Roundtable Discussion will also feature our SBC President, Bart Barber, who will be with us to discuss the issues that are affecting the Southern Baptist Convention in this way. We will also be sharing a brief update from our Sexual Abuse Taskforce and the strides that we are making to resource our churches.

For your convenience, we are hosting this Roundtable Discussion in four different locations throughout our two states. The meeting locations and times are below.

Thursday, August 24 – 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm at LifeHouse Church near Middletown, DE
Friday, August 25 – 9:00 am – 1:00 pm at Riva Trace Baptist near Annapolis, MD
Friday, August 25 – 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm at Westminster Baptist in Westminster, MD
Saturday, August 26 – 9:00 am – 1:00 pm at Mountain City Church in Frostburg, MD
