Have you ever had the opportunity to wander through Jerusalem? Have you ever wondered what Jesus’ last week on earth was like as He walked through Jerusalem?

Come to Oak Grove Baptist Church from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 28, 2026, when the campus will be open to all for the Easter “Free Gift” Tour. This tour will set the stage for the last week of Jesus’ life through recreated scenes of biblical Jerusalem. Starting with Palm Sunday, the tour proceeds through Holy Week, leading up to Resurrection Sunday and the empty tomb.
This “come-to-life” presentation will depict many of the dramatic events of the week. It is a wonderful opportunity to prepare for Easter by remembering Jesus’ resurrection from the grave.
Beginning in the front foyer of the sanctuary, guests will stroll through “Jerusalem,” hearing about the week’s events from costumed narrators and viewing staged scenes depicting the Palm Sunday entrance, the Lord’s Supper in the Upper Room, the money changers in the temple, and the women in the garden. The tour will continue through the adjacent building with a moving depiction of the cross of Calvary, followed by the empty tomb.
The tour is self-paced and will take about 20 minutes. At each staged area, tokens will be given to guests in remembrance of each stop. If desired, prayer requests may be submitted at the prayer garden.
At the end of the tour, sandwich wraps from a local restaurant will be available free of charge. Additionally, candy will be distributed.
The Easter “Free Gift” Tour is designed for all ages and is accessible to people with disabilities. This event is planned for rain or shine.
