2025 BCM/D Formation and Health Report
By Dan Hyun
BCMD’s Formation and Health ministry exists to help our churches do great work for God out of a deepening rootedness in Christ.
We primarily serve our churches by caring for their pastors. This care includes offering personal care, support, and prayer. We have also worked together with Local Associations to host regional Healthier Pastors, Healthier Churches gatherings that equip leaders with practical pathways toward holistic health.
2025 Mobilization and Planting Team Report
By Jamie Caldwell
The heartbeat of Send BCMD is simple: we exist to multiply gospel impact by planting churches, developing leaders, and resourcing congregations across Maryland and Delaware. Over the past year, that mission has taken shape in powerful and tangible ways.
Church planting remains at the core of who we are. In the past year alone, we have celebrated the launch of 13 new churches across our region. Each of these new congregations represents more than just a Sunday gathering — they are outposts of the Kingdom planted in neighborhoods and among people who desperately need the hope of Jesus.
2025 Missional Impact Team Report
By Mark Dooley
The Missional Impact Team exists to resource and assist churches in impacting their communities. We focus on five broad areas of doing this
Evangelism – As State Director of Evangelism, Mark Dooley leads the effort to encourage evangelistic fruitfulness among our churches. This year, a training event was held in March where 125 people learned how to use The Evangelism Kit, a NAMB resource designed to help create a culture of evangelism in our churches. Also, a little more than 100 pastors and staff attended Evangelism encouragement lunches held in each Associational area. Next year, we will host two training events: April 16 at Weems Creek Baptist and October 15 at Skycroft. We hope to see many of you there
2025 Church Strengthening Team Report
By Jeremy Dickson
In 2025, the BCM/D Church Strengthening Team focused on equipping leaders, supporting churches, and investing in the next generation.
We launched the first BCM/D Church Leadership Conference, drawing over 300 leaders to Riva Trace Baptist Church for training across discipleship and operational ministries. Our Men’s Conference brought together more than 350 men to grow as godly leaders in their homes and churches.
Through the State Missions Offering, we helped 6 churches begin revitalization, and 13 more received assistance through our Strengthening Church Grant—fueling transformation and health across the region.
