The Southern Baptist Convention’s (SBC) first “Caring Well Sunday” is September 24. This special emphasis was added to the SBC calendar as the result of an adopted resolution from a Baptist Convention of Maryland/Delaware pastor, Keith Myer, who leads Harvest Baptist Church, Salisbury.

Caring Well Sunday is dedicated to raising awareness regarding the effects of and prevention of sexual, physical, and spiritual abuse so that we might pray and work to eliminate all forms of abuse from our churches.

The BCM/D Sexual Abuse Task Force has assembled a resource page on our website to provide all you need to promote and observe this special Sunday. You can access at bcmd.org/pathways-caringwellsunday
