Meet your keynote Speaker
RJ McCauley
RJ has spent over 20 years in youth ministry, answering God’s call after coming to faith in high school and shifting from a background in architecture to building lives through ministry. He has trained extensively in Christian leadership and theology, is currently pursuing a Doctor of Ministry focused on youth evangelism, and has received national recognition for his impact while equipping youth leaders across the country through coaching, partnerships, and leading a statewide youth movement. RJ and his wife Melissa, whom he met in ministry, have a daughter, Emma Rose, who leads her own Jesus Club among her classmates.

REAL TALK: Following Jesus in a World That Doesn’t
Faith isn’t always popular — especially at school or online. This session is all about how to stay rooted in truth when culture pushes back. Learn how to stand firm in your faith, live differently, and love people well — even when it’s not easy.

Great leaders don’t lead alone. This collaborative roundtable creates space for meaningful conversations around current youth ministry challenges, practical strategies, and innovative ideas. Together, we’ll learn from one another and leave better equipped to disciple the next generation.
Conference FAQs
What’s the cost?
Individual ticket price for students and leaders is $35.
What’s the dress code?
Come casual and comfortable! Some attendees like to bring a sweatshirt or light jacket (the Worship Center can be chilly!) — or snag one at the BCM/D Store.
Can you accommodate allergies?
Yes! We offer gluten-free and dairy-free lunch options, as well as options at the Snack Bar.
Can we reserve seats?
We’re not able to reserve seats, but when doors open you’re welcome to send someone from your group to hold seats until five minutes before the session begins. After that, we’ll need to release unfilled seats so everyone can be accommodated. It’s going to be a full house!
