The BCM/D Men’s Conference is designed to equip and empower men to grow in their faith and live out their calling as strong, godly leaders. This year’s theme, “A Man after God’s Own Heart,” will guide participants in deepening their relationship with God and living with purpose and integrity. The conference will feature powerful messages along with breakout sessions that provide practical tools and discussions on how to align your life with God’s heart. Whether you’re seeking spiritual growth or a community of like-minded men, this conference promises to challenge and encourage every participant in their walk with Christ.

Dan Hyun

Dan Hyun

Pastor Dan Hyun is the founding pastor of The Village Church in Baltimore. He now works with the BCM/D to equip the larger Church to experience God’s formative presence with a vision for deeper reconciliation and mission. Dan is the author of “The Bible in 52 Weeks for Men.”

Joel Kurz

Joel Kurz

Joel Kurz serves as lead pastor at The Garden Church in Baltimore, MD. He is the executive director of ONE HOPE, a ministry focusing on planting churches in the poorest urban neighborhoods. Joel additionally serves as the Executive Director for the Baltimore Baptist Association. He is a graduate of Spurgeon Baptist Bible College (BA) and The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (MDiv). Joel lives with his wife, Jess, and their four children in their church’s west Baltimore community.

Jamaal E. Williams

Jamaal E. Williams

Jamaal E. Williams is lead pastor of Sojourn Church Midtown in Louisville, Kentucky, and president of Harbor Network. He’s a native of Chicago and holds a DEdMin in black church leadership from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Jamaal is the co-author of In Church as It Is in Heaven (InterVarsity, 2023) a book exploring how the gospel shapes a multiethnic kingdom culture with Timothy Paul Jones. Jamaal and his wife Amber have five children. Parenting and ministry remind him daily to depend on Jesus, who fuels everything he does.
