COUNSELING
The Scripture says, “Why are you cast down, O my soul, and why are you in turmoil within me? Hope in God; for I shall again praise him, my salvation and my God.” -Psalm 42:11
We want to provide our churches with opportunities to pursue holistic care through community, conversation, and counseling. To that end, we have partnerships with counseling organizations that provide counseling for those in ministry positions who are facing challenges in either life situations or vocational settings. We also provide various levels of support and care for folks who are in crisis situations. Organizations we work closely with to provide this care and concern include:
Life Counseling Center Ministries
Life Counseling Center Ministries is here to walk alongside you through life’s challenges, helping you discover a deeper, more intimate relationship with Jesus in the midst of your struggles. Rooted in Scripture and the transforming hope found in Christ, they offer a safe place where healing, renewal, and peace can take root in your life. LCCM’s counselors focus on building genuine relationships, taking time to know you well so they can offer wise, timely counsel that reflects the compassionate way Jesus cared for people. Recognizing that our struggles touch every part of who we are—both spiritual and physical—LCCM provides clinically-informed counseling that honors you as a whole person, an embodied soul created by God. Their heart is to see you step forward with renewed faith, hope, and courage, knowing you don’t have to face life’s difficulties alone.
CentrePointe Counseling
CentrePointe Counseling provides accessible mental health counseling and education services with licensed, Christian counselors in Maryland, DC, Northern VA and beyond. We do this through a community of Gospel-informed counselors deliberately applying faith to their approach to counseling work. We accept health insurance, and provide Samaritan Fund grants and reduced rates for those who struggle to afford counseling. We partner with and serve churches and ministry leaders in their restorative work; and see clients of any race, gender, nationality, faith or socio-economic background.

Anchored Virtual offers Biblically grounded, clinically informed, virtual counseling for anyone, anytime, anywhere. They give hope through convenient and confidential virtual counseling with theologically educated and highly trained counselors.

Minister Counseling Support
As part of our commitment to the mental health of our BCM/D churches, we are pleased to offer financial assistance to ministry leaders of BCM/D churches. The support is granted to approved applicants who receive counseling services with one of our partner organizations above.
Who: Pastors, Pastoral Staff, and Pastors’ spouses from cooperating BCM/D churches // Amount: Up to $125/session up to six counseling sessions
