Associate Pastor of Worship & Media — Faith Baptist Church in Knoxville, Maryland, is seeking an Associate Pastor of Worship & Media. Part-Time Youth Leader — Taneytown Baptist Church in Taneytown, Maryland, is looking for a mature, responsible believer with good leadership skills and a call to serve teenagers and their families to fill a part-time youth leader position (up to 20 hours per week). The role of the youth leader is to minister to the youth (sixth through 12th grades) of our church and local community and to administer, develop, and implement youth ministry programs designed to meet their spiritual, social, and emotional needs, leading them to spiritual commitments and disciplines.
Requirements for this position include the oversight of Wednesday night Bible study and activities for the youth group, planning for and leading the youth Sunday school class, oversight of and participation in the Good News Club ministry at Runnymede Elementary School on Tuesday afternoons (during the school year), and planning, organizing, and participating in additional youth events such as game nights, movie nights, outdoor activities, missions activities and potentially camps, etc.
Although not required, some additional skills that would be useful in this position include computer and technology skills (for social media and web interaction), music experience, and counseling training/skills.
