BCM/D Exec Tom Stolle Invites You to “The Gathering”

I want to personally invite you to “The Gathering,” our annual meeting, on November 10-11. Let’s come together to fellowship with old friends, make new ones, praise God, be equipped, and hear dynamic preaching that will stir our hearts! Does this sound good? Join our family of pastors, leaders, and church attendees within our 400+ affiliated BCM/D churches in Ocean City, Md. — one of our favorite venues! Our meeting will be at a prime location — the newly revitalized Ashore Resort and Beach Club, 10100 Coastal Highway, fronting the ocean. Allow me to give you a glimpse of what you will experience.

 

In addition to the program, which, in my opinion, will be amazing, there are many wonderful places to eat, shop, and visit. You can also take some time to relax and enjoy being at the ocean. There’s something in Ocean City for everyone!

 

We know ministry can be really hard. If you are discouraged, we want you to leave encouraged, recharged and strengthened.

So be strong and courageous, all you who put your hope in the Lord!  Psalm 31:24 (NLT)

 

Many will come together at The Gathering to pray to our awesome God! We will pray, trust, and believe God for even greater things!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.”  Philippians 4:6 (NLT)

 

There will be breakout sessions designed with you in mind, where believers will come together to be equipped and resourced. We want to share information with you that will help you as you minister to others. “Intelligent people are always ready to learn. Their ears are open for knowledge”.  Proverbs 18:15 (NLT)

 

You will hear wonderful messages from preachers who can’t wait to share with you what God has laid on their hearts and minds.

“And he ordered us to preach everywhere and to testify that Jesus is the one appointed by God to be the judge of all—the living and the dead.”  Acts 10:42 (NLT)

 

We will worship!

 

“Shout with joy to the Lord, all the earth! Worship the Lord with gladness. Come before him, singing with joy. Acknowledge that the Lord is God! He made us, and we are his. We are his people, the sheep of his pasture. Enter his gates with thanksgiving; go into his courts with praise. Give thanks to him and praise his name. For the Lord is good. There will be all of this and more! Please come and be part of The Gathering. You will be blessed, and God may use you to be a blessing to someone else.
