Somewhere in your youth group right now is a student who’s ready for more than another event. More than another game night. They’re ready to be trusted with something real.
That’s why we’re inviting your church to Annapolis this fall for BCM/D’s first-ever Student Leadership Conference, a one-day gathering at Riva Trace Baptist Church built for 6th–12th grade students and the leaders who pour into them.
This year, one theme sits at the center of everything: Carry The Gospel.
The Gospel changes everything and God calls all of us, students included, to carry it into our schools, our homes, our churches, and our communities. That’s what our gifted team of breakout trainers, worship leaders, and keynote speakers will be unpacking at SLC.
But SLC isn’t built to be one more day of hype that fades on the drive home. We want students to leave believing something they may never have believed before: that God doesn’t just have a plan for who they’ll become someday. He wants to use them now. We’ll equip them to lead courageously and serve humbly right where they already are.
Students will be challenged to consider questions such as:
- Who has God placed in your life who needs to hear about Jesus?
- What’s holding you back from telling them?
- What would happen if you did?
Leaders won’t be spectators either. Alongside their students, ministry leaders will walk away with practical, usable tools for helping teenagers grow as disciples and step into real leadership, not someday, but starting now.
Here’s what I believe: God is raising up a generation of students who will proclaim Jesus boldly to a world that is lost and hurting and hungry for something true. I believe some of those students are sitting in your church right now.
Send them. Send your leaders alongside them. Let’s equip this generation together to Carry The Gospel.
