Breakouts
Leading with Legacy in Mind
Rev. Bucas Sterling III, Senior Pastor – Kettering Baptist Church Legacy Center
This breakout invites senior pastors to reflect on the long-term impact of their leadership. With a focus on legacy, participants will explore key principles and personal insights that shape how ministry is led today and remembered tomorrow.
The Wounded Healer
Rev. Andy Ehlers, Senior Pastor – Hide Tide Church
In a world where pastors are expected to be strong and unshaken, where do we go with our wounds, brokenness, and suffering? This breakout explores how God uses our own pain—not in spite of it, but through it—to bring healing to others. Through wisdom gleaned from Scripture and real life experience, this session invites you to embrace a redemptive vision of ministry where healing and leadership flow from the same sacred place.
Leading from the Second Chair
Rev. Jeremy Dickson – BCM/D
This session explores the unique challenges and opportunities of serving in a supporting leadership role. Designed for those who lead without being the lead pastor, it offers space to consider how to lead with excellence, influence, and integrity from where you are. Whether you’re navigating vision, communication, or team dynamics, this conversation will encourage and equip you to lead faithfully from the seat you occupy.
The Heart, Head, and Hands of Mobilization
Rev. Jamie Caldwell – Send Network
This breakout will help pastors clarify a Christlike focus on mobilization by providing a church-wide framework for discerning, discovering, developing, and deploying leaders from the harvest for the harvest.
Rooted and Renewed: Spiritual Practices that Sustain Pastoral Life
Dr. Ron Blankenship – DOM, Montgomery Baptist Association
Rev. Victor Kirk – Senior Pastor, Sharon Bible Fellowship Church
Dr. Joel Rainey – Senior Pastor, Covenant Church
Join us to explore the personal spiritual formation practices that ground and sustain pastors amid the demands of ministry and life. Our panel of experienced practitioners will share rhythms, disciplines, and habits that help them remain connected to Christ and lead from a place of spiritual vitality.
