Key Points:
• Community Understanding: Emphasized the importance of understanding community demographics, including religion and ethnicity.
• Desire for Impact: Stressed the necessity of having a heartfelt desire to improve the community, inspired by Romans 10:1.

Moody said, “If I could relive my life, I’d devote my entire ministry to reaching children for God.” This session will focus on equipping leaders to effectively and clearly share the gospel with children taking into account language, learning styles, and cognitive ability. Leave with valuable tools to use in your ministry the next Sunday! Participants are asked to bring their physical Bibles!

5. Engaging Women in the Mission of God – Catherine Renfro (Breakout 2 + 3 only)

Sharing the hope of the gospel can seem daunting. Do I know enough? Am I bold enough? Can I lead women well in this area of ministry? As a follower of Jesus, God has given you and those you lead a ministry. 2 Corinthians 5:18 refers to this ministry as the ministry of reconciliation. Join Catherine Renfro as she discusses practical ways to leverage your life and the ministry God has entrusted you to lead to not only make Jesus known, but to equip those you serve to do the same as they engage in the mission of God.

6. Evangelizing Gen Z – Mike McQuitty

Where are all the young people?  This question frequently arises as the median age of a church’s population drifts upward. This session will offer practical ways to reach, develop, and mobilize college students and young adults to be a part of church revitalization.  God is blessing churches with opportunities in this area today.  Discover how God may be calling your church to do more with young adults.

7. An Overview of Methods for Sharing Jesus – Mark Dooley

Head vs. Heart … often we know how to share the gospel but simply don’t do it.  Others, however, have a heart to want to share but lack the knowledge of how to present an effective gospel presentation.  Even when we know how to share the gospel, it’s helpful to learn new methods and be challenged to actually share Jesus with others.  This breakout session, led by BCM/D’s Evangelism Director, Mark Dooley, will overview several methods for sharing the gospel and point people to resources that will help sharpen their skills in doing so.

8. Embrace The Nations for the Gospel – Peter Yanes

Today, the gospel is brought to “the nations” that are constantly moving around the globe. Everywhere you go, especially in the metropolis, the nations, the immigrants, the refugees, international students, and people of different ethnicities and cultures are waiting to hear the gospel.
