Introduction to Southern Baptist Disaster Relief 
Orientation to Recovery Team
Select up to 2 classes (new volunteers must take Intro to Disaster Relief as one of their selections)

Introduction to Southern Baptist Disaster Relief:

This class is required for all new volunteers. The class will give an overview of the work of Disaster Relief and ministry with disaster Disaster Relief Training Lynnhaven Baptist Church survivors. We will also cover what to expect on a disaster response, what to bring, etc.

Orientation to Recovery Team:

This class will overview the work of the flood recovery and chainsaw teams with emphasis given to safety. Although this is a physical ministry, there are roles on the recovery team that do not require physical strength.

Please note: New volunteers must complete both classes to receive their Disaster Relief badge. Although training is open to anyone, only those at least 18 years old and members of a BCM/D affiliated church are eligible to receive Disaster Relief badges.
