So\, let’s get started! \nLeading in a Multiethnic Church\nRev. Dan Hyun\, Director of Formation and Health BCM/D \nJoin us as we explore the power of the ministry of reconciliation as demonstrated through God’s church. How about those that graduated from youth group but are still hanging around? And what about the college campus down the street that needs to be reached? Come hear from a panel of campus ministers and young adult leaders to learn how to reach out to the current generation as they transition into young adulthood! \nCultivating a Healthy Women’s Ministry Group\nPayton Pope\, Spousal Care Coordinator BCM/D \nThe goal of any Women’s Ministry is to grow closer to Jesus through Scripture and fellowship. But what do you do when things feel like they’ve hit a wall? Maybe it’s a lack of resources\, leader burnout\, or low attendance—these are just a few of the common challenges women’s ministry groups face. In this workshop\, we’ll talk about how to build a strong foundation for your group\, how to spot potential issues or “red flags\,” and offer some helpful resources to overcome common challenges! \nThe Digital Front Door: Why Your Website Matters More Than You Think\nKris Buckman\, Youth & Kids Consultant BCM/D \nYour church’s website is more than just a digital bulletin board—it’s your front door\, your welcome mat\, and your first impression to new families. In this interactive workshop\, we’ll reflect on what your current website is really saying about your church and how to make it say\, “You’re welcome here.” \nWe’ll explore: \n·       What new families are actually looking for when they visit your site. \n·       Where to place key information like service times\, kids’ ministry info\, and contact details. \n·       How your website reflects (or confuses) your church’s culture. \n·       Real-life examples of what’s working (and what’s not!). \n·       How social media ties into your site—and how to stay consistent with simple scheduling tools. \nYou’ll walk away with practical ideas\, evaluation tools\, and a renewed vision for using your church’s digital front door to welcome the next generation of guests. \nBuilding Strong Men: Foundations for a Viable Men’s Ministry\nJeremy Dickson\, Director of Church Strengthening BCM/D \nIn today’s culture\, men face unique spiritual\, emotional\, and relational challenges. Every generation is different. Every generation is valuable. Churches\, businesses and organizations are struggling at a time of necessary transition because they are struggling to answer vital questions regarding the generational differences within their organization. \nUnderstanding ourselves allows us to understand others and give them grace to be themselves. The better we understand the origin of our own values\, the more grace we will have for others in understanding the origin of their values. This legitimizes not only our own unique set of values\, but also the unique set of values of those who are unlike us. The goal of this book is to provide a tool for you to take this journey of understanding and grace\, so that we can maximize the benefit that each of our generations bring to the table. \nYou Don’t Have to Start a Disability Ministry\nKatie Matthews\, Disability Ministry Consultant BCM/D \nOften times when we hear the phrase “disability ministry\,”\, we think of programs and outreach and not relationships and access. In this workshop you will learn how to support families in your church with disabilities without having to start a “disability ministry.”. You’ll leave with practical steps to begin implementing immediately\, and a greater understanding of how to welcome those with disabilities with ease into the life of your church. \nStronger Together: Partnering with Parents in Next Gen Ministries\nKent Phoebus\, Lead Pastor\, South Shore Church \nParents are the primary spiritual influence in a child’s life—but they don’t have to walk that journey alone. SUMMARY:Preschool Ministry Gathering
DESCRIPTION:Preschool Ministry Gathering\n Join us for a half-day gathering designed for church leaders\, preschool teachers and child development center directors and staff who are passionate about shaping the next generation. Together\, we’ll enjoy fellowship\, a light breakfast\, and practical workshops that highlight the gospel impact of weekday ministries and the beauty of child-centered learning grounded in God’s design. You’ll hear inspiring stories\, gain fresh strategies\, and discover new ways for churches and CDCs to partner for both spiritual formation and educational excellence. Walk away encouraged\, equipped\, and ready to take your next step in ministry with children and families. \n \n \n \n \n \n Meet our Speakers\n \nLora Gravatt is a visionary leader passionate for equipping Whole Life Disciples who follow Jesus into all spheres of their lives. A large part of her work has focused on developing discipleship initiatives such as transitioning the inherited church from a Sunday School model to home group model\, a church-home partnership strategy for the next gen\, and championing the reimagination of the Child Development Center ministry as an intentional tool to evangelize children and families. Lora holds a Master of Divinity degree with emphasis in Christian education\, Bachelors in Business & Marketing\, and has served in vocational ministry for over 25 years at Columbia Church.  \n\n \nDr. Doyna Illmer brings over 20 years of experience in early childhood education\, currently serving as Senior Director of Columbia Child Development Center\, a faith-based center in Falls Church\, VA\, that serves over 200 children ages 18 months to 5 years. She holds a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology with specialization in Early Childhood Education from The Catholic University of America and has extensive experience working with diverse families and communities both internationally and in the United States. Her passion for quality early childhood education stems from her deep understanding of how investment in young children can transform life trajectories\, particularly for underserved populations. \n \n \n \n \n \n Workshops\n A More Beautiful Partnership: Reimagining the Church & CDC Together for Gospel ImpactYour church’s CDC is more than childcare\, it’s a sacred opportunity to disciple the next generation and reach families in your community. In this interactive workshop\, you’ll hear real stories from Columbia Church\, explore why weekday ministries are one of the most strategic doors for evangelism and discipleship\, and discover how pastors\, teachers\, and directors can partner together for greater gospel impact. You’ll leave inspired and equipped with your next practical step to strengthen the partnership between your church and CDC. This workshop is particularly helpful if all the stakeholders and strategic decision makers (Sr. Pastor\, Ex. Pastor/Discipleship Pastor\, Center Director\, Elder/Deacon\, Children’s Minister\, etc) can attend together. \n  \nSacred Wonder: Guiding Young Hearts Through God’s Design and Child-Centered LearningThis leadership workshop equips Christian preschool directors with the knowledge and tools to integrate the Reggio Emilia philosophy with biblical foundations in their programs. Directors will explore how child-centered\, inquiry-based learning can flourish within a Christ-centered environment while maintaining educational excellence and spiritual formation goals. Participants will leave with practical implementation strategies\, staff development resources\, and a clear roadmap for creating programs that honor both God’s design for childhood and evidence-based educational practices. \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Preschool Ministry Gathering\n \n \n Δ\n \n \n\n \n Name(Required)\n \n \n \n First\n \n \n \n \n Last\n \n \n Church or CDC Name(Required)Email(Required)\n \n Phone(Required)Product Name Quantity(Required)Please select how many tickets you’d like to purchase.
