SUMMARY:SEND BCM/D: For The Kingdom
DESCRIPTION:For The Kingdom is on Friday\, September 19\, at 7pm-8:30pm at Redemption City Church. Childcare will be provided\, and we will have light refreshments. Our vision for this event is to create a culture of collaboration among the churches. This collaboration aims to see Maryland and Delaware saturated with the gospel by raising up church planters and church planting team members from within our congregations\, developing them\, and sending them out to plant more churches. Every church member has a role to play in this whether it is through going\, supporting\, or praying! We would love to invite you to what God is doing in our area! \nRegister using this link here: Sign Up Now!

SUMMARY:Preschool Ministry Gathering
DESCRIPTION:Preschool Ministry Gathering\n Join us for a half-day gathering designed for church leaders\, preschool teachers and child development center directors and staff who are passionate about shaping the next generation. Together\, we’ll enjoy fellowship\, a light breakfast\, and practical workshops that highlight the gospel impact of weekday ministries and the beauty of child-centered learning grounded in God’s design. You’ll hear inspiring stories\, gain fresh strategies\, and discover new ways for churches and CDCs to partner for both spiritual formation and educational excellence. Walk away encouraged\, equipped\, and ready to take your next step in ministry with children and families. \n \n \n \n \n \n Meet our Speakers\n \nLora Gravatt is a visionary leader passionate for equipping Whole Life Disciples who follow Jesus into all spheres of their lives. A large part of her work has focused on developing discipleship initiatives such as transitioning the inherited church from a Sunday School model to home group model\, a church-home partnership strategy for the next gen\, and championing the reimagination of the Child Development Center ministry as an intentional tool to evangelize children and families. Lora holds a Master of Divinity degree with emphasis in Christian education\, Bachelors in Business & Marketing\, and has served in vocational ministry for over 25 years at Columbia Church.  \n\n \nDr. Doyna Illmer brings over 20 years of experience in early childhood education\, currently serving as Senior Director of Columbia Child Development Center\, a faith-based center in Falls Church\, VA\, that serves over 200 children ages 18 months to 5 years. She holds a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology with specialization in Early Childhood Education from The Catholic University of America and has extensive experience working with diverse families and communities both internationally and in the United States. Her passion for quality early childhood education stems from her deep understanding of how investment in young children can transform life trajectories\, particularly for underserved populations. \n \n \n \n \n \n Workshops\n A More Beautiful Partnership: Reimagining the Church & CDC Together for Gospel ImpactYour church’s CDC is more than childcare\, it’s a sacred opportunity to disciple the next generation and reach families in your community. In this interactive workshop\, you’ll hear real stories from Columbia Church\, explore why weekday ministries are one of the most strategic doors for evangelism and discipleship\, and discover how pastors\, teachers\, and directors can partner together for greater gospel impact. You’ll leave inspired and equipped with your next practical step to strengthen the partnership between your church and CDC. This workshop is particularly helpful if all the stakeholders and strategic decision makers (Sr. Pastor\, Ex. Pastor/Discipleship Pastor\, Center Director\, Elder/Deacon\, Children’s Minister\, etc) can attend together. \n  \nSacred Wonder: Guiding Young Hearts Through God’s Design and Child-Centered LearningThis leadership workshop equips Christian preschool directors with the knowledge and tools to integrate the Reggio Emilia philosophy with biblical foundations in their programs. Directors will explore how child-centered\, inquiry-based learning can flourish within a Christ-centered environment while maintaining educational excellence and spiritual formation goals. Participants will leave with practical implementation strategies\, staff development resources\, and a clear roadmap for creating programs that honor both God’s design for childhood and evidence-based educational practices. \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Preschool Ministry Gathering\n \n \n Δ\n \n \n\n \n Name(Required)\n \n \n \n First\n \n \n \n \n Last\n \n \n Church or CDC Name(Required)Email(Required)\n \n Phone(Required)Product Name Quantity(Required)Please select how many tickets you’d like to purchase. Bucas Sterling III\, Senior Pastor – Kettering Baptist Church Legacy CenterThis breakout invites senior pastors to reflect on the long-term impact of their leadership. With a focus on legacy\, participants will explore key principles and personal insights that shape how ministry is led today and remembered tomorrow. \nThe Wounded HealerRev. Andy Ehlers\, Senior Pastor – Hide Tide ChurchIn a world where pastors are expected to be strong and unshaken\, where do we go with our wounds\, brokenness\, and suffering? This breakout explores how God uses our own pain—not in spite of it\, but through it—to bring healing to others. Through wisdom gleaned from Scripture and real life experience\, this session invites you to embrace a redemptive vision of ministry where healing and leadership flow from the same sacred place. \nLeading from the Second ChairRev. Jeremy Dickson – BCM/DThis session explores the unique challenges and opportunities of serving in a supporting leadership role. Designed for those who lead without being the lead pastor\, it offers space to consider how to lead with excellence\, influence\, and integrity from where you are. Whether you’re navigating vision\, communication\, or team dynamics\, this conversation will encourage and equip you to lead faithfully from the seat you occupy. \nThe Heart\, Head\, and Hands of MobilizationRev. Jamie Caldwell – Send NetworkThis breakout will help pastors clarify a Christlike focus on mobilization by providing a church-wide framework for discerning\, discovering\, developing\, and deploying leaders from the harvest for the harvest. \nRooted and Renewed: Spiritual Practices that Sustain Pastoral LifeDr. Ron Blankenship – DOM\, Montgomery Baptist AssociationRev. SUMMARY:Pastor Formation Cohort
DESCRIPTION:Pastoring is not a 9-to-5 job.\n There is an unending list of important things to do as you seek to serve others sacrificially. The demands of ministry make it difficult to find a healthy rhythm of life and work\, and can leave you running on empty.“I don’t know if I can keep up this pace anymore.” \n“I am on the verge of just walking away.” \n“The pressure has reached a breaking point.” \nIf you have felt this way you are not alone. \nWe welcome you to our Pastoral Formation Community. Pastor\, author\, and artist Ronnie Martin and BCM/D Director of Formation and Health\, Dan Hyun\, will provide perspectives and practices that will lead to newfound flourishing in your life and ministry. You’ll learn to develop a sustainable pattern of ministry that both honors the Lord and the people you care for while guarding you from burnout. \nOur cohort-based approach blends some teaching but will primarily be oriented around connection with one another with two half-day retreats (February 19 and May 21) that bookend shorter regionally based gatherings throughout March and April. Together we’ll explore practices that restore attentiveness to God and people: crafting sane schedules\, shepherding from identity rather than insecurity\, leading from prayerful presence\, and building friendships that sustain the long haul. \nCheck out more details including the regional dates and locations below. Space is intentionally limited so register soon to hold your spot. \nIf you’re tired of measuring ministry by speed and volume\, come learn to do less—and accomplish more of what actually matters. Your soul\, your family\, and your church will notice the difference. \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n February Retreat\n Date: February 19\, 2026\, 9:30AM – 3PM \nLocation: South Shore Church \nKick off the Pastoral Formation Community with our first half-day retreat. Join Ronnie Martin and Dan Hyun as we take an honest look at the pace of ministry and what it means to lead from strength and stability. This opening session lays the groundwork for developing habits that help you stay steady and effective for the long haul. \n \n \n \n \n \n Regional Meetups — March\n Connect with other pastors in your region for a time of conversation\, encouragement\, and sharpening. These smaller gatherings build on February’s retreat and give space to talk about real challenges in ministry with brothers who understand the weight of the work. \nMarch 5: Weems Creek Church\, 600 N Bestgate Rd\, Annapolis\, MD 21401 \nMarch 10: Bethlehem Church\, 900 Bowleys Quarters Rd\, Baltimore\, MD 21220 \nMarch 12: FBC Laurel\, 15000 First Baptist Ln\, Laurel\, MD 20707 \nMarch 14: Virtual (9-10am) \nMarch 19: Paramount Baptist Church\, 13234 Marsh Pike\, Hagerstown\, MD 21742 \nMarch 24: Virtual (9-10am) \n \n \n \n \n \n Regional Meetups — April\n Take another step in the journey toward healthy\, sustainable ministry. SUMMARY:George Liele Missions Breakfast
DESCRIPTION:George Liele Missionary Breakfast\n The BCM/D African American Fellowship (AAF) invites you to attend the 4th Annual George Liele Missionary Breakfast\, a special event celebrating the legacy of George Liele and highlighting the vital role of African American missionaries in global missions. \nThrough engaging visuals\, stories\, and testimonies\, participants will gain a deeper understanding of international missions and the growing need for African American missionaries. \nSaturday\, February 21 2026 | 9 AM – 12:00 PMSharon Bible Fellowship Church\, 6117 Seabrook Road\, Lanham MD 20706 \n \n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Here's what to expect:\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Video Presentation\n This year’s program will feature a powerful video presentation on the history of George Liele\, along with presentations spotlighting two mission teams: \nThe Africa Partnership\, led by Pastor Ricky Wilson \nRicky Wilson\, originally from Coatesville\, Pennsylvania\, experienced a life-changing encounter with Jesus Christ at the age of nine. This encounter led him to embark on a journey to discover God’s purpose for his life\, ultimately answering the call to preach the gospel. He pursued theological education at Dallas Theological Seminary in Dallas\, Texas\, where he earned a Master of Theology degree in Pastoral Leadership. Additionally\, he holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Cheyney State University. \nRicky Wilson\, together with his wife\, children\, and a dedicated group of believers\, planted Christian Faith Fellowship\, a church located in Chester County\, Pennsylvania. Ricky serves as the Senior Pastor of the church\, guiding and shepherding the congregation. \nPastor Wilson currently serves as an International Missions Board Trustee for the Southern Baptist Convention. \nRecently\, he founded Africa Partnership with a clear vision to strengthen local churches across the African continent through education\, evangelism\, edification\, and economic development. Africa Partnership is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization that has been working in Africa for over 22 years in 14 countries focused on providing support for local churches and leaders. Africa Partnership strengthens local churches\, empowers leaders\, and plants new congregations through training\, discipleship\, and resource support. \nPastor Wilson and his beloved wife\, Shirley\, are the proud parents of two sons\, Philip Jordan and the late Michael Jonathan. Their family stands as a testament to their love\, faith\, and dedication to their calling in ministry. \nEssential Piece Ministries International (EPMI)\, led by Pastor and Sis Keiffer and Martha Bent \nIn 2000\, Essential Piece Ministries International was founded by Keiffer and Martha Bent. EPMI grew out of a love of sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ. We observed an urgency for the gospel. The need continues to grow worldwide. \nWe now serve locally and internationally as short-term missionaries.  Our first mission trip as a family was to Antigua.  After returning we continued to work in full-time ministry in Maryland. Our focus is to share the gospel\, to train and equip through evangelism\, discipleship and training. \nFrom 2006 to present\, EPMI has served locally and internationally. We are Mission focused (Mathew 28:19-20).  We are thankful for the opportunities we have had to share the gospel\, give bibles\, evangelistic booklets and pamphlets\, leading Bible studies and mobilizing the church.  In North America\, India\, Taiwan\, China\, Philippines\, South African and Central Africa\, We want people to know\, and experience Jesus\, as Lord and Savior through: Evangelism\, Discipleship Training. \nCurrently\, we are focused on expanding our outreach work on a broader scale. One of the specific goals is to help pastors\, and lay leaders internationally to be more equipped. If they are more equipped\, they can better share the gospel effectively\, teach their families\, and congregation. They can better develop disciples in their local areas. Additionally\, we will expand our work in Evangelism and training in more countries. Additionally\, adding English as a Second Language (ESL) ministry\, hosting  Bibles studies\, and discipleship training locally and globally. \nWe trust the Lord and all the needed resources:  working under the power of the Holy Spirit\, prayer\, God’s labors\, and financial support. In order for the ministry to continue to thrive and grow. There is an urgent need for the gospel to be proclaimed. (John 3:16). \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Breakfast & Guest Choir\n Breakfast will be served buffet style consisting of: Scrambled Eggs\, Grits\, hash brown potatoes\, pork bacon\, pork & turkey Sausage\, bread & butter w/ jelly\, pancakes w/ Syrup. Juices\, milk\, fruit\, and an assortment of Danishes. \nThe event will also include a special musical selection by The Washington DC Choral Union. \n \n \n \n \n \n BCM/D’s AAF introduces George Liele Offering\n We will introduce the George Liele Fund that will be used to support African American Pastors and congregations who are involved with international missions. \nEach participant will receive a fund envelope and a memento of George Liele (magnet\, book marker\, coffee cup\, etc.).

This year’s breakout track is designed to equip you to leverage your everyday life – your conversations\, your home\, your community\, and your unique gifting – to boldly and joyfully share the hope of Jesus. \n\nChoose from five practical and encouraging sessions that will help you walk confidently into the mission God has given you. \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Confident Faith: Everyday Apologetics for Real Women\n How do you respond when someone asks a hard question about God? This session breaks down apologetics in a warm\, accessible way—helping you answer with clarity\, gentleness\, and truth. Walk away with simple tools that strengthen your confidence and point others to Jesus in any conversation. \n \n \n \n \n \n The Secrets Of A Prayer Warrior: How To Pray With Boldness\n Discover how to approach God with confidence and faith. In this breakout\, you’ll learn practical strategies for strengthening your prayer life\, grounding your prayers in Scripture\, and interceding with courage. Walk away equipped to pray boldly for your family\, your calling\, and the lost world around you. \n \n \n \n \n \n Gospel at Home: Leading Your Household to Jesus\n Before we reach the world\, we reach the people under our own roof. This session will help you build rhythms that make Scripture\, prayer\, and spiritual conversations a natural part of home life—whether you’re discipling kids\, encouraging a spouse\, or influencing extended family. \n \n \n \n \n \n For Working Women: Living Missionally As You Serve and Lead\n You don’t need a passport to live on mission. God has placed working women in spaces where they use their gifts and abilities for a purpose. This breakout equips you to see your secular work place as gospel opportunities and to step boldly into relationships with compassion\, courage\, and intentionality. \n \n \n \n \n \n Your Story Matters: Sharing Your Testimony with Power and Clarity\n \nYour testimony is a God-given way to share the gospel with authenticity and impact. In this interactive session\, you’ll learn how to shape your story so it’s clear\, compelling\, and rooted in Scripture—and leave prepared with a 2–3 minute testimony you can confidently share.\n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Revive FAQ's\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n What’s the cost?\n Individual ticket price is $50. \n \n \n \n \n \n What’s the dress code?\n Come casual and comfortable!
