After a few years as a practicing Muslim\, Thabiti was converted under the preaching of the gospel in the Washington DC area. He and his wife\, Kristie\, have three children. Thabiti is the author of several books\, including The Life of God in the Soul of the Church; The Gospel for Muslims; What Is a Healthy Church Member?; The Decline of African-American Theology; The Faithful Preacher; and Exalting Jesus in the Gospel of Luke. \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Sean Sears\nSean and his wife\, Billie\, started Grace Church in 2005 with a couple of their spiritually disconnected neighbors and 3 college students. It took four years to reach 100 people\, but then they began to grow rapidly. Grace is now in four locations\, has sent out 9 church plants since 2009\, and baptized more than 1\,300 people in the Boston metro area. This has implications on how men are to steward their bodies for the glory of God and for their own good.
