DESCRIPTION:Because Church Should Be A Safe Space For Everyone\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				Disability Sunday: A Call to Embrace All\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				Join churches throughout Maryland/Delaware in recognizing the second Sunday of July as disability Sunday. We are so excited to be linking arms with other SBC state conventions to provide encouragement to and for individuals with disabilities and their families and bring awareness to the need for disability ministry in our churches. \n  \n			\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n			\n				\n				\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				Understanding Disability Sunday\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				Disability Sunday is a pivotal day for churches to recognize and act upon the biblical mandate found in Luke 14:13\, which calls us to invite and embrace those who are often marginalized\, including individuals with disabilities. This day is not just about awareness but about actively removing obstacles to ensure that the gospel is accessible to all.
