One Heart. One Mission. \nJoin us for The Gathering 2025\, the annual BCM/D family meeting for pastors\, leaders\, and churches across Maryland and Delaware. This year’s theme—ONE: One Body. One Heart. One Mission.—calls us to celebrate God’s work among us and to look ahead with unified vision for the year to come. \nWhat to Expect: \nA Slower Start – We’ve moved to a Monday–Tuesday schedule to allow you time to travel and rest before we begin. \nMinistry Reports That Matter – Hear firsthand stories from BCM/D teams and leaders about how God moved in 2025 and what’s ahead in 2026. \nA Special Dinner – A dedicated dinner on Monday evening for pastors and pastors’ wives—a time of encouragement\, fellowship\, and refreshment. \nA Major Announcement – Be the first to hear about an exciting new event launching in 2026. \n2026 Save the Dates – Receive the full calendar for next year’s BCM/D gatherings. \nConnection – Build new friendships and reconnect with ministry partners\, with intentional space for downtime and conversation. \nWorship & Prayer – Above all\, we’ll gather to worship\, pray\, and seek the Spirit’s movement across our churches and communities. \nCome join us as one family on mission\, united in heart and purpose for the gospel. \nFor more details\, contact our team at events@bcmd.org \n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				Where Is The Gathering?\n				We’ll meet once again at the Ashore Resort and Beach Club in Ocean City\, MD. \nThe Baptist Convention Annual Meeting 2025 Room Block is now open for reservations! Look at “Hotel Details” to find more information. \n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				How Do I Register for The Gathering?\n				We’re using Whova again this year to manage registration and digital tickets. If you registered last year\, just sign in with the same email and you’re set. \nQuick Start (2–3 minutes)\n1. Click Register on this page. \n2. Choose your ticket type (Messenger or Guest) and enter attendee details. \n3. Check your confirmation email (includes your QR code ticket). \n \nRegistration Types\nMessenger \n– Must have an SBC ID number \n– Must register individually (one at a time) \n– Must check the Messenger box during registration \n– If you’re unsure of your SBC ID# or how many messengers your church can have\, contact mjones@bcmd.org or call (410) 290-5290. \nGuest \n– No SBC ID required \n– Can register multiple people at once \n  \nWhat You’ll Need\n– An email address you can access \n– Your SBC ID# (if registering as a Messenger) \n– Names/emails for any additional Guest attendees you’re registering \n \nStep-by-Step: On a Computer\n1. Click Register (opens Whova checkout). \n2. Select your ticket type: Messenger or Guest. \n3. Enter attendee info (name\, email\, church/organization if applicable). \n4. Messenger: register one person at a time. \n5. Guest: use Add another ticket/attendee to register multiple people. \n6. Review your details and click Submit/Place Order. \n7. Check your confirmation email from Whova for your receipt and QR code. \n* (Optional) Click View event in the email to explore the agenda. \n\nStep-by-Step: On a Phone\n1. Tap Register (or use the free Whova app). \n2. Choose Messenger or Guest ticket type. \n3. Enter attendee details. \n4. Messenger: one at a time. \n5. Guest: you can add multiple. \n6. Your QR code will be in both the app and your email. \nIf you download the Whova app first\, search “The Gathering (BCM/D)”\, tap the event\, and select Get Ticket. \n \nAfter You Register\n– Confirmation Email → Contains your QR code \n– Sign in to Whova → Access agenda and updates with the same email \n– Check-in → Show QR code on your phone or bring a printed copy \n \nFAQs\n1. What is Whova?A secure event platform that handles registration and provides an event hub (agenda\, messages\, announcements). \n2. Do I need a Whova account?Yes\, it’s free. Returning users sign in with the same email. New users create an account during checkout. \n3. Can I register more than one person? \nMessenger: No\, one at a time only. \nGuest: Yes\, you can add multiple attendees during checkout. \n4. I don’t know my SBC ID# or how many messengers my church can have.Email mjones@bcmd.org or call (410) 290-5290 for assistance. \n5. Can I register someone who doesn’t use email?Yes. Use your email for the purchase and provide their name. Then contact us so we can assign their ticket. \n6. I don’t use smartphones. Can I still attend?Absolutely. Print your confirmation email (or just bring your name and photo ID). We can check you in at the desk. \n7. I didn’t get my confirmation email. What now?Check your spam/junk folder for a message from Whova. If it’s not there\, contact us and we’ll resend it. \n8. Are group/church registrations available?Yes—for Guest tickets only. For bulk registration or invoicing\, contact us. \n9. Will Whova share my info?Your info is used only for The Gathering. Inside Whova you can control what other attendees can see in your profile. \n10. No agenda\, no pressure—just time to connect (or reconnect!) with others who share your heart for the next generation. \nDisaster Relief Meet-UpCome and see how God is using Disaster Relief to bring hope and help to people in crisis. This gathering is for pastors\, church leaders\, and members who want to learn how to prepare\, serve\, and partner with BCMD after disasters. Keith Myer\, State Director for Disaster Relief\, will share practical ways to mobilize your church and connect with the larger Disaster Relief network. \n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				Pastors and Pastors Wives Dinner\n				Pastors\, you and your wives are invited to join us for dinner on Monday evening. We’d love the chance to celebrate your faithful service and the calling God has placed on your life. This dinner is for pastors currently serving at a partnering BCM/D church and their wives. \nWhen you register\, please be sure to sign up for this dinner—unfortunately\, we aren’t able to accept walk-ins because of space and meal planning.
