Speaker: Karen Stokes

Karen grew up as an Army Brat traveling the world with her family. She served as an Army Nurse for twenty year and a civilian nurse for twenty- three years. Her specialties include Nephrology and Emergency Medicine. She is spending her retirement years serving as president of the Missionary Ministry and at her church, a member of Sisters Who Care and the Domestic Violence Hope Team of the Women’s Missionary Union of Virginia and a member of the Mission and Prayer Committee of the Baptist Nurses Fellowship. Her favorite activity is spoiling her two granddaughters.

Commuter Costs: (Includes meals for 1 or 2 days):

Please note the following:

• All lodging facilities require you to bring your own personal items and linens (sheets or sleeping bag, blanket, and pillow. There is one single bed and one double bed in the Timbers, so a flat sheet may work better if you are staying in the Timbers.)
• If you are joining us for Saturday only, registration will be in the Fellowship Hall after breakfast, so please join us in the Dining Hall for breakfast first.
• Some helpful suggestions for you to remember: wear comfortable shoes, bring flip flops for the shower, your own towels and wash cloth…your Bible…rain gear, and flashlight.
