Preaching Roundtable – All Times/Locations

Join fellow BCM/D pastors and teachers to hear from and dialogue with nationally-known preaching leaders, and to strengthen your preaching and teaching skills in various genres of Scripture.
Each of the conferences will focus on a different aspect of expounding God’s inexhaustible Word. Register today and join us to discuss the essential task of pastors, Sunday School teachers, and small group leaders — rightly dividing and declaring the whole counsel of God.
Dr. Kevin Smith leads the staff of the Baptist Convention of Maryland/Delaware. He has experience as a pastor, chaplain, church planter, conference speaker, and short-term missionary. He has studied at Hampton University, the Church of God Theological Seminary, and The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, subsequently serving on Southern’s faculty for over a decade.
As the state director of evangelism Dooley brings over 34 years of ministerial and pastoral experience to the position. In addition to his ministry as pastor of Leonardtown Baptist Church, he served several terms on the BCM/D General Mission Board (GMB) and is a past GMB president. Recently, Dooley served on the Southern Baptist Convention committee on nominations. On the associational level, he served on several committees with the Potomac Baptist Association. He is a graduate of Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, earning a Master of Divinity.
Allan Moseley is Senior Professor of Old Testament and Hebrew at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, NC, where he has taught since 1996. His undergraduate study was at Samford University, and he earned the M.Div. and Ph.D. degrees at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Before beginning his teaching career Moseley served as a pastor, and he continues to serve regularly as an interim pastor. He has also lectured and preached around the country and in numerous international settings. He has written, edited, or contributed to nine books, and has written over one hundred articles and Bible studies for publication. Dr. Moseley and his wife Sharon have three married children and eight grandchildren. He enjoys spending time with his family, fishing, and reading.
Prince brings to Southern Seminary many years of teaching, writing, and pastoral experience, having previously served Southern Seminary adjunctively since 2006, teaching courses on preaching and pastoral ministry. In addition to his role on the faculty, he is also the pastor of Ashland Avenue Baptist Church in Lexington, Kentucky. He is married to Judi and they have eight children.
Prior to joining the faculty of Southern Seminary, Pohlman served as the senior pastor at Immanuel Bible Church in Bellingham, Washington. Prior to that, he served as executive editor for The Gospel Coalition and as an executive producer and editor for Salem Communications. In addition to his writing for The Gospel Coalition, he has written extensively for popular periodicals and websites such as Tabletalk magazine, Christianity.com, and Crosswalk.com.Pohlman currently serves as the Lead Pastor at Cedar Creek Baptist Church in Louisville, KY.
