Missions Trip to Kenya

*Total trip cost does not include flight, passport, visa, immunizations, insurance or personal incidental.
First deposit of 25% of total trip cost due on September 1 (by submitting this amount, you are committing to travel to Kenya with the BCM/D in the winter of 2019)
•Participants will be responsible for obtaining and covering the cost of their flights, passports, immunizations, insurance, and incidental costs. The BCM/D will process all visas, however, participants are responsible for the costs. Further information regarding visas and purchasing flights will follow. Participants must forward copies of all travel documents to Rosalie Chesley, Assistant to the Executive Director and Kenya Missions Trip Coordinator, by October 18 , 2019.
•If you do not have a passport that is valid through June 2020, we ask that you postpone traveling until next summer, and obtain or renew your passport in the meantime. BCM/D will coordinate future trips to Kenya through 2021. Due to the length of time required for passport processing, there is not sufficient turnaround time to guarantee the arrival of your passport and mandatory Kenyan visa for travel in Fall 2019.
*The BCM/D will make every effort to responsibly arrange safe conditions for all participants, but due to the inherent risks of international travel, is not liable for accidents, injury or illness. Each participant is responsible for appropriate preparations, and for practicing common sense and good judgement while serving in Kenya with the BCM/D. By submitting your deposit, you agree to act in keeping with these guidelines and to release the BCM/D from liability.
