Shannon has traveled worldwide as a reporter and a short-term missionary to places, such as East Asia, the Middle East, Egypt, Dominican Republic, Haiti and Mexico.
Shannon and Larry now serve at the Bridge Fellowship Church in Reading, Pa., where Larry is senior pastor. They have two daughters, Hannah and Lauren.
Shannon holds a master of arts degree in ministry leadership from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary and a bachelor of arts degree in journalism and mass communications from the University of N.C. at Chapel Hill.
