Keynote Speaker - Kathy Litton

Kathy Litton serves with the North American Mission Board as the National Consultant for Ministry to Pastors’ Wives. She is responsible for developing and implementing ministry and training to pastors’ wives throughout North America.

Kathy received her bachelor’s degree in Education from University of Missouri at St Louis. She was married to the late Dr. Rick Ferguson for 26 years. Rick and Kathy served churches in Missouri, Texas, and Colorado. While in Denver under Rick’s leadership, Riverside Baptist Church planted 25 churches in the western region. Rick died in a car accident in 2002.

After Rick’s death, Kathy worked at Eyeris, a software development firm in Denver, Colorado. She then served on staff as women’s minister for four years at Cross Church at Pinnacle Hills in Rogers, Arkansas and traveled extensively speaking to women, teaching and encouraging pastors’ wives, and training leaders.

In August 2009, Kathy married Dr. Ed Litton pastor of First Baptist North Mobile in Saraland, Alabama. Like Kathy, he lost his spouse, Tammy in a tragic car accident.

Kathy and Ed have joined two families that comprise six children. Kathy’s son Brett and his wife, Rachel, live in Bentonville, Arkansas along with their two daughters. Her daughter Kate Marshall lives in Denver, Colorado with her husband, Chuck, and their son. Kathy’s son Justin resides in Rogers, Arkansas with his wife, Lindsey. Ed’s son Josh and his wife, Nicole, live in Manhattan, New York. Son Tyler is a student at Union University in Jackson, Tennessee, and will soon be married to Emma Robertson. Daughter Kayla is a senior in high school.
