World Missions and Partnerships

BCM/D is committed to helping Maryland/Delaware Baptists become personally involved in a worldwide disciple-making enterprise. Jesus left the church His final instruction, “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem , and in all Judea and Samaria , and to the ends of the earth." Acts 1:8

As you pray about where God wants to use you in your Jerusalem, to the ends of the earth, we will help you find partners to fulfill that call.

What is a Partnership Ministry?

Through our office for World Missions and Partnerships we want to help connect you, and your church, with mission opportunities locally, throughout Maryland/Delaware, throughout the United States and Canada, and internationally throughout the World.  This is to assist you in meeting our Lord’s challenge in Acts 1:8.

  • Partnerships offer you the greatest amount of support on the mission field.
  • Partnerships offer North American and International opportunities.
  • Partnerships offer the possibility of mission partners coming your way to help your church achieve its mission locally.

Our partnerships with other areas usually last from 3-6 years, with the possibility of extending your personal partnership even longer.

Who does the BCM/D have partnerships with?

Currently we have local and continental partnerships with the following:

Several of our churches and associations have extended their partnerships with Canada and Moldova. As each partnership ends we try to add a new one.

How can I help my church start a Partnership?

We believe that the Lord calls different believer to different places, and in response to that, we offer support to you and your church to "wherever He leads".

We offer help with the following:

  • finding opportunities
  • communicating with the mission field
  • training for mission trips

    • Equipping Conference - UUPG

      There are approximately 44,000 Southern Baptist Churches and 3,800 unengaged, unreached people groups that no one is telling about Jesus.     • Summer Mission Opportunity

      Summer Missions Opportunity We still have several weekends that need to be filled.  Our summer mission teams typically arrive on Thursday afternoon and leave Sunday after church.  Ministries that occur throughout the weekend include:  Kids Night Out, Water ministry, prayer walking, servant evangelism, construction projects with local state park or other local places, campground serves, ministries to athletes, and more.
