Seminar
Dan Kimball speaks on what's happening among emerging generations and why they are disappearing from our churches.
Dan defines the "emerging church" and teaches on the development and differences within it (and most importantly, why not to use the term "emerging church" anymore). He will discuss how churches see themselves as missional and what that means to the average pastor and church in terms of leadership, evangelism, preaching, worship services and buildings.
Dan also looks at specific ways emerging culture views the church and Christians. Dan will address criticisms; specifically concerns that the church is judgmental, homophobic, anti-intellectual, and that it oppresses females. Learn what we as the church can do about these misconceptions without compromising Scripture or truth.
