Interfaith Forum on Homelessness
Would you like to know more about how you can help the homeless?
Would you like to meet others who share your passion for justice and network with clergy and lay leaders from other congregations?
Would you like to learn what other congregations are doing to work with the homeless and impoverished?
Would you like to meet and learn more about the folks who are working on the front lines to make Baltimore a more just and caring city for everyone?
If you answered yes to any of the questions above, you will have an opportunity to do all this and more at the Second Annual Interfaith Forum on Homelessness; "Increasing Understanding - Diminishing Fear" sponsored by Baltimore United Congregations.
This forum is the first of four events that will culminate with the Annual Homeless Person's Memorial Day Service at the Inner Harbor on December 21. In addition to the forum and the memorial service there will be a discussion related to entry back into the community from incarceration in October and a sleep-out in November.
Please come and share your wisdom and experiences on September 20 at Goucher College from 9:00am - 3:30pm. Enjoy the opportunity to hear from leaders in theology and public policy. Hear firsthand what those who are experiencing homelessness and poverty most want from us. Come and inspire others.
