Hurricane Matthew devastated the parts of the Caribbean and the southeastern US.
While local churches are reaching out to help their communities as best they can, Southern Baptist Disaster Relief teams are assisting with mobile feeding units, shower and laundry trailers, chainsaw and flood recovery teams. Baptist Convention of Maryland/Delaware laundry teams have already been deployed to North Carolina and starting this weekend, recovery teams will be deploying to South Carolina to assist with chainsaw and flood recovery/mudout work .

How can I help?
- Pray for those affected by the storms and those who are ministering to them.
- Pray that local churches and Disaster Relief teams will provide strong needed assistance and ministry.
- Pray for wisdom and safety as church and Disaster Relief teams face challenging situations.
- We know that disasters are often catalysts to spiritual transformation—pray for hearts to be open to the gospel and for believers to share the love and hope of Christ.
