BCM/D Disaster Relief Volunteers are on Alert Immediately.
For All Trained Disaster Relief Volunteers:
All units are going back on alert immediately. Recovery volunteers are going to standby.
Assessors are finding extensive damage in St Mary’s and Calvert Counties.
We are standing up recovery teams as soon as possible. Other units may be needed as the situation becomes more clear.
More information will be coming as soon as it is available. We are setting up housing and logistics now.
For Disaster Relief Recovery workers:
Please check your availability for tomorrow (Aug 321) through (Sept 3) and beyond. Since this is a local response, many of you may be able to serve on a day-by-day basis rather than making a week long commitment.
All Disaster Relief workers:
Call 410-290-5290 ext 900 and leave your name, your phone number, the unit that you are trained in and the days you may be available to serve. Please call only if you are available.

Please know that we are praying for those of you that have been hit hard by Irene. Our Disaster Relief teams have been mobilized. Areas are still being assessed. Our SBC brothers have communicated their prayer support and willingness to help where needed. We stand ready to join you in this recovery journey. Remember, too, this may provide an opportunity for you and your church to share the love of Christ.
