Each year Maryland/Delaware Baptists provide health kits to be used in a variety of ministries including migrant workers, prison inmates, homeless, seamen and international students. Again this year, we are seeking to minister to people through this medium. We’re counting on you to meet this need.
Include in a two gallon zip-lock bag or a 14 x 12 drawstring, cloth bag, the following items:
a large bath towel large comb (no rat tail combs)
wash cloth shampoo (full size)
toothbrush (adult) soap (full size bar)
toothpaste (large) deodorant
Please Put Only Requested Items in the Bags.
Instructions
Place the kits in boxes for easy storage. Mark the box with its contents and number of bags (whether cloth or plastic bags, and the name of the church and association).
Kits are to be brought to: Extra Space Storage, 10400 Old Columbia Road, Columbia, MD 21046 (1.410.290.9660). Go to the office and request the folder for Woman’s Missionary Union. Complete the form in the folder. Use the key to unlock the storage unit. Return the key to the office.
Kits must be delivered per the following schedule:
v From May 1 through May 24 (This is the only month for storage—please do not bring kits to the Storage Facility after Monday, May 24.)
v Monday–Friday, 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
v Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
v Closed on Sunday
Distribution of kits will be the last week of May.
