We rejoice with each gift we have received for our Good Samaritan Stores! Whether a box of new scissors or a check to cover the cost of city new backpacks, we are thankful for the hearts that seek to give.
Our first wave of back-to-school stores begins in August, and we find ourselves waiting, hoping, praying, and expecting! We know our God can do mighty things, and we are humbly placing our trust at the cross.
Thank you to the many who have given to this outreach effort or who are collecting supplies! We want every parent who comes to our store -- with a dollar or canned good in hand -- to be able to experience the love of Christ through a welcoming smile and an assortment of needed supplies for his or her child. Will you help us?
As we partner with ten hosting churches, we still need the following; clear backpacks, colored backpacks, pocket folders, dividers, highlighters, jumbo erasers, scissors, pocket-size hand sanitizer, spiral notebooks, rule, notebook paper, and pencil cases/pouches. Praise God for sufficient quantities of pens, pencils, and crayons!
Every dollar and donation will be put to good use!
- $180 buys 24 clear backpacks (required by many Baltimore City schools)
- $37 buys 24 pencil pouches
- $75 buys 300 pocket folders
