It’s a generation that’s been talked about a lot, but we know so little about it

This 7-episode series takes a close look at who this generation is.

Episode 4: The Rubber Band Generation

Join the BCM/D's Maina Mwaura for the 4th part of this 7 episode series on reaching Generation O.

I left this comment over at your facebook post of the video, but just in case you don't check that I'll leave it here.

I'd be interested in you fleshing out your statement "and how they value family". There are a lot of ways that could be taken, and I'm just curious as to how you would define it.

Also, you insinuate that the "rubber band" generation stretches you, but in the final sentence you say that you should stretch the rubber band generation. Two questions come out of this observation, first, is this an either/or statement or a both/and? Second, in what ways does this stretching metaphor come into play? Does it mean that you (using 'you' here to mean all those I'm assuming this video is directed at) should stretch them back "closer" to the previous generations viewpoints politically, philosophically, or theologically? Or perhaps are you advocating a stretching of the mind, as it were, like you would receive in a liberal arts school, one that has (from the point of view of *this* generation) been long deprived from evangelical ecclesiastical communities?
