“Focused Living for Church Planters” is an in-depth look at who you are, your calling and mission in life, along with the experiences that have shaped you into the person you are today. It is the accurate and necessary starting point for all church planters as they begin their adventure of starting a new church for our Lord. Our Convention’s covenant with all SBC church planters expects YOU to participate in this training event within your first year on the field. In addition, your spouse is encouraged to join you for this training weekend, IF AT ALL POSSIBLE. This is the initial training process we provide to assist every planter couple in understanding who they are as they are preparing to plant a new church.
The registration cost for this training event is $49 per couple, however we are waiving this fee for those of you who are not receiving funding from us! Housing options are at your own additional cost; if you choose to stay in this area, a list of hotels can be provided
FL (Focused Living) training will help you understand yourself and your past. It will help you narrow your focus as you look to the future, based upon God’s calling upon your life. This will help you in the foundation steps necessary for the establishment of your new church plant for years to come!

Please note: it is STRONGLY suggested that you NOT attend this event without your spouse. We understand that sometimes jobs and children make it impossible for her to attend, but her presence will be invaluable, so I hope that you will make every effort possible for her to participate, too.
Once you register you will receive a pre-work packet that needs to be done before you arrive on Friday the 5th.
