The Baptist Convention of Maryland /Delaware Deaf Ministry serves the deaf community throughout the mid-Atlantic region providing a liaison to church strengthening, community connection and training. A retreat incorporating both instruction and spiritual refreshing for the deaf and translators is held annually for individuals and families. The retreat center is located in the mountains of western Maryland and is handicapped accessible.
