Event Summary:

Imagine how your church can become the prime partner for your local school! This seminar is designed to inspire and equip you to do just that.

Featuring Kevin Palau:

Join as Kevin Palau, president, speaker and evangelist crusader of the Luis Palau Association, and author of "Unlikely: Setting Aside Our Differences to Live Out the Gospel," shares from his experiences. The founder of the church/school partnership, City Serve, Palau will share how across the Oregon region, a school movement is occurring as over 300 out of 400 schools have requested and now partner with a local church.

Also on the program will be a panel of regional experts, consisting of Network pastors and other church leaders, who are leading successfully in the area of church/school partnerships. Already confirmed are:

Daryl McCready from SonRise Church, Berlin, Md. – Not only are church/school partnerships part of the DNA of SonRise, but Daryl helps to unify local churches for greater community impact on a regular basis.

Dan Housam and Lisa Olson from Summit Trace Church, Frederick, Md. – In addition to the many ways Summit Trace organizes their church to serve Lincoln Elementary, they have begun to meet with representatives from Lincoln, the community and their church to develop a 5-year strategy for helping their school community. Their team is called, "The Lincoln Community Aiming Team (LCAT)."

Jennifer Williams from Ashton Baptist Church – Jenn is the founder of Dressed In Love Ministries, a prom dress ministry for students. Jenn’s heart for teens is inspiring,"If it only takes a free dress and makeover to show God's love to these girls, then what are we waiting for!"

Mark Kilmovitz from Friendship Baptist Church, Sykesville, Md., – In addition to serving the Lord with excellence through many other community outreach areas, Friendship Baptist Church connects to encourage eight different local school on a regular basis.

Keith Aguila from Grace Baptist Church, Cumberland, Md., – The mutually beneficial impact of a partnership between a church and a school is so evident in the testimony of Grace Baptist Church. Come hear this unique and powerful story!
