Adult Bible Study (8 Week)
Lesson 1 - Study Overview: Discuss the biblical foundation for an evangelistic lifestyle. Discover the six expressions of Evangelism essentials; begin to participate in discovering ways to engage lost persons.
Lesson 2 - Pray: At the end of this lesson, the learners will: understand the importance of praying for lost people; discuss the biblical foundation of prayer for witnessing encounters; actively participate in praying for the lost during this lesson and prior to the next lesson.
Lesson 3 - Enjoy & Serve Lost People: At the end of this lesson, the learners will: discover ways to enjoy and serve lost people; examine biblical examples of attitudes and actions towards the lost; produce an individual and small group plan for serving the lost.
Lesson 4 - Evangelism Training: At the end of this lesson, the learners will: examine the biblical call to personal evangelism; write their personal testimony; actively participate in sharing their testimony prior to the next lesson.
Lesson 5 - Friendly Up the Church: At the end of this lesson, the learners will: focus on the biblical call to demonstrate love and encouragement; discuss ways to Friendly Up the Church; actively model "Friendly Up the Church" actions prior to the next lesson.
Lesson 6 - Bridging & Harvesting Efforts: At the end of this lesson, the learners will: examine how the spirit-filled life leads to seeing and feeling like Jesus; discuss the traits of effective bridge-builders and harvesters; actively pursue bridging and/or harvesting actions prior to the next lesson.
Lesson 7 - Connecting & Deploying Disciples: At the end of this lesson, the learners will: discuss the importance of being connected and deployed as a disciple; examine the attributes of God-centered connection and deployment; explore ways to personally become better connected and deployed prior to the next lesson.
Lesson 8 - Study Summary: At the end of this lesson; the learners will: review the 6 Expressions of Love and Evangelism; discover biblical examples of perseverance and goal-setting; develop spiritual goals for their personal life, family, and church.
