Event Summary:
Training offered in: Introduction to Disaster Relief, Feeding Unit, Recovery Unit .
Training Classes
Introduction to Disaster Relief: This is the prerequisite course to all unit training and specialized classes. New Volunteers must take the Intro class and at least one "unit class" to received their certification.
Feeding Unit: This class covers the equipment and operation of a mass-care feeding program. Emphasis is given to sanitation and health issues dealing with food preparation. NOTE - Feeding unit class is made up of 2 parts. Part One (classroom) and Part Two (hands on). In order to received credit, volunteers must complete BOTH parts.
Recovery Unit: This class will overview the three types of recovery work done by our Maryland/Delaware Units, chainsaw, mud out, and temporary emergency repairs..

April 14 Training
